Presets

A preset sets colors, fonts and corner style together. Walnut is the default. Choose another in the theme editor under Theme settings. Your content stays as it is.

Walnut is the default style. It is a dark preset with a night walnut page, linen text and a warm oat button. Buttons are pills and panel corners are 6 px. The demo store, Ordway Home, uses it as a dark mid-century style. Wood, brass and warm fabric photograph well on it.

A cool limewash page, paper surfaces and one walnut accent. Buttons are pills and panel corners are 6 px. It suits most stores.

A white page with square buttons and panels. It suits stores that sell art, lighting and modern pieces.

Each preset has four color schemes. Every section lets you choose one.

  1. Scheme 1 is the page.
  2. Scheme 2 is an alternate band.
  3. Scheme 3 is a stone band.
  4. Scheme 4 is a dark band (a light band in Walnut).

Alternate schemes between sections to set the page rhythm.

Every preset also has a companion mode that runs the other way. Walnut’s companion is light: warm oat paper with walnut text and a walnut button. Casella’s is dark: deep moss with limewash text and a toasted oak button. Gallery’s is dark: travertine at night, with a pale stone button. Photos stay the same in both modes.

Under Theme settings, Colors, choose which colors the store shows: the scheme colors, the companion colors, or whichever matches the shopper’s device. Turn on “Show light and dark switch” to let shoppers choose. The switch sits in the header on desktop and in the phone menu, and the shopper’s choice is remembered.

Each color scheme lists its companion colors under “Companion mode”. Keep them the opposite way round from the scheme’s own colors.

All presets use Marcellus for headings, Jost for text and IBM Plex Mono for measurements. Change them in Theme settings, Typography.

Under Theme settings, Layout, set the page width (1200, 1440 or 1600 px), page margin, panel corner radius and button shape. These override the preset.
