Getting started

Casella is a theme for furniture, lighting and decor stores. Every page helps shoppers see whether a piece will fit.

Install

1. In your Shopify admin, go to Online Store, then Themes.
2. Add Casella to your library and select Customize.
3. Keep the default Walnut style or choose Casella or Gallery in Theme settings (see the presets guide).
4. Add your logo under Header.
5. Publish when you are ready.

First hour checklist

1. Add the product metafields (see the product setup guide). Without them, measurements stay hidden.
2. Set your delivery rules under Theme settings, Delivery.
3. Set your free delivery amount under Theme settings, Cart.
4. Build your home page. Start with a Room hero, then a Category row.
5. Set up filters in Search & Discovery (see the filters guide).
6. Check each page on your phone.

Where settings live

• Theme settings hold colors (including light and dark), fonts, layout, measurements, product cards, stock, delivery, cart, search, motion and social links.
• Sections hold the content of one part of a page. Add, move, hide and repeat them.
• Blocks sit inside sections. Product page blocks are reorderable.

Units

Shoppers switch between inches and centimeters, and the theme remembers their choice. Set the starting unit under Theme settings, Measurements. Enter each dimension once. The theme converts it.

Get help

If a measurement does not show, check that its metafield is filled in.
